Did you know:

• The flag was created in 2014 by Kye Rowan to represent people whose gender identity does not fit within the traditional male or female binary. 

The colours represent...

• Yellow represents those whose gender falls outside of the binary
• White, a colour that consists of all colours mixed, stands for multi-gendered people
• Purple represents those whose gender identity falls somewhere between male/female or is a blend of the two
• Black, the absence of colour, represents individuals who feel they don't have a gender
